Ron - Vocalist & DobroI have always had a love for music. Being raised in a Christian home, with my Mom and sister playing the piano, and my Dad playing the guitar, exposed me to different styles of music. After my dad taught me a few chords, I knew I was hooked. I loved the idea of creating and controlling the music that I made. I wasn't real sure what kind of music that I wanted to play until I heard Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver. From that moment, I knew that Bluegrass Gospel would be my heart and soul. I played with New Horizon for a while and then moved on. I always knew that God had more for me to do in this type of ministry, but it would be almost 10 years before He would create and complete Blu-Grace. Now, with two married couples that basically all grew up together, I am doing what I know God had planned for me all this time. I am challenged daily trying to juggle three to four instruments, but mostly I play the bass and resonator guitar. Ronald and Jennifer have always been a big influence on me, because of their dedication and friendship. Most of all, I have a wonderful wife, Christie, who gives me the support every day that I need, and a beautiful little girl, Abby, who continues to amaze me with every passing moment. God has been so good to me. I want to thank Him for my salvation and the opportunity to be a part of a ministry that works so hard to do his will.
