Jennifer - Vocalist & FiddleI was born and raised in Cullman, AL. I grew up listening to different styles of music. My one true love of music was playing the piano. My mother started me taking piano lessons at age 5. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of my love for music. I later went to Wallace State College and received a degree in Music Educaton. My parents, Greg and Diane Whitlock have always been a wonderful example of Godly parents. They raised me in church where I later received Christ into my heart at age 10. I grew up listening to gospel music, but I was always open minded to different styles of music. My husband, Ronald and I met while he was singing with New Horizon. I later became part of the group and learned to play the fiddle. I first knew that I wanted to play the fiddle when I heard Alison Krauss on the radio. I never thought that I would ever like bluegrass until I heard her. Artists like Alison, Doyle Lawson, Third Tyme Out, and many more have influenced my love for bluegrass gospel music. God has been so good to me. He has blessed me with a wonderful husband, three wonderful children - Kanaan, Sawyer and Ivey, as well as great friends. Since singing with New Horizon, God has led us to sing with Blu-Grace whom we've learned to love dearly. Most of us have all gone to high school together, and are now doing what we love to do best, sing for the glory of God.
